kerbauth on Powershell Virtual dirctory incorrect
Hello, I need to reset the Powershell virtual directory back to it's defaults but so far I have been unsuccessful. Here is some information to help us troubleshoot. A single Exchange 2010 Standard Server with Hub/CAS/MB, installed on Server 2008 R2. When editing a redirect the kerbauth module for powershell was changed to managed module type and a Local Entry Type. to be clear, when I open up the Powershell Virtual Directory, and select modules Kerbauth looks like this.. Kerbauth C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin\kerbauth.dll Managed Local My C:\Windows\System32\Inetsrv\config\ApplicationHost.config file has the following entries.. <globalModules> <add name="WSMan" image="C:\Windows\system32\wsmsvc.dll" /> -- <add name="kerbauth" image="D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin\kerbauth.dll" /> -- I have followed the steps here to try to resolve but everything seems to be in place, but it still doesn't work. http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2010/02/04/453946.aspx I have also recreated the powershell virtual directory, which also does not seem to help. Thank you for your assistance.

Also, the error I'm getting in Exchange and EMS.. "Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The WinRM client cannot process the request. It cannot determine the content type of the HTTP response from the destination computer. The content type is absent or invalid. For more information, see the about_Remote_troubleshooting Helpt topice. It was running the command 'Discover-ExchangeServer -UseWIA $true -SuppressError $true'.

I was able to re-register the kerbauth.dll and get it back to.. kerbauth | C:\program Files\Microsoft\Exchange\ Server\V14\Bin\kerbauth.dll | Native | Inherited EMS works, but still no EMC.

renaming the web.config file in Inetpub\wwwroot fixed the EMC issue.
