Hello,

We applied kb3031133 with hopes of preventing the migration process from duplicating our Contacts folders when migrating mailboxes (it creates a second, empty Contacts folder).  We installed CU8, rebooted, and migrated another mailbox.  The contacts folder was duplicated again.  Any ideas?

Please confirm whether the duplicate contact folder persists in OWA and Outlook Online mode for all migrated mailboxes.

If the issue happens to specific users, we can refer to the following KB to manually remove these 

duplicated folders to have a try:

Circling back on this, It looks like an update was issued CU9 for this. I haven't applied it and tried a migration yet, but I've been told this update should prevent this issue from happening.
