Hello,

We applied kb3031133 with hopes of preventing the migration process from duplicating our Contacts folders when migrating mailboxes (it creates a second, empty Contacts folder).  We installed CU8, rebooted, and migrated another mailbox.  The contacts folder was duplicated again.  Any ideas?

Duplicate contacts can occur after migrating from Exchange 2007 to 2013.
Duplicate contacts can also be created when you synchronize your mobile device by using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Check out:

You can remove the duplicates with the help of some supplicate remover software.

Duplicate contact *folders*, not duplicate contacts.

I've seen this happen as well, it might be a new instance of the bug. I wouldd say open a ticket with support.
