Hi,

i was installing exchange server on windows server 2012 until in finalizing installation my pc froze and i reset it.

now im in add server role and i see mail box role is installed , Client access role is installed, management tool is installed but edge transport not installed and all of this option are gray(disabled) last option is automatically install windows server roles and features.....

and now it looks like next button is disabled and i cant go forward.

this is fresh installation of exchange server 2013.

If its a fresh install of Exchange my better option would be to format the box and do the re-installation again

Based on my knowledge, Edge transport server isn't installed on the same server with other exchange server roles.

Because the Edge Transport server is installed in the perimeter network, it's never a member of your organization's internal Active Directory forest and doesn't have access to Active Directory information.
