hi all i have the following : 1- Windows server 2008R2 , main server working as DC and the domain name is domain.com for example 2-windows server 2008R2, Exchanger server installed Hub transport and CAS role on it and it asked for Organization name i gave MyOrganization as the name . 3-now i have 3rd server , Windows Server 2008R exchange server i want to install Mail box server role on it But it should not ask for Organization name because its already assigned by the second server ! , but it asked for give an organization name !! why is that ? i logged in to the 3rd server as ExServerMB1 user which is member of enterprise admin group what is the solution please help Regards

1. Did you run setup /PrepareAD 2. Verify the following exists via ADSIedit and you ca see Org anme CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=<root domain >, Sukh

1. When you ran setup, did ir prepare your AD for schema ? Do you rememebr seeing this? Check your Exchange setup logs 2. If you have just ran this and you have more than one DC, wait for replication to occur. 3. Point to above is to check if the schema has been extended. Use ADSIedit and browse the configuration partitions to see if Exchange contaniner/attributes exisit. 4. Run Get-Organization to verify your Org name Sukh

Something is broken if it wants the org name again. Instead of installing it with Enterprise Admin account, use a delegated Exchange Organization Mgmt account to install. and see what happens

Thanks for all , i found the problem , actually im wokring on vmware wrokstation , i have vitrual servers, and the problem was the 3rd server was not communicating with the 2nd one there was no ping reply when i was doing ping from server 2 to the 3rd one and vise versa ... kind regards for all and many thanks .. for sure i will have more problems which i need your help then again ... thanks again for all Sya
