Hi Vijay,Is this a spike or it keeps above 50% all the time?Make sure you are updated with latest SP and hot fixes. And also try mother of all troubleshooting step, A REBOOT. Give it a reboot and see if that makes a difference. Also, try going into the properties of your Virtual SMTP server and limit the number of connections that it can establish. Clear the queues and tighten security on the connector. Also make sure that none of your users have been bitten by a mm worm/virus and their machines are trying to send out heeps of email. Are you using any AV like GFI? http://thebackroomtech.com/2007/05/25/troubleshooting-the-inetinfoexe-process-running-at-100-utilization/Raj
