individual mailbow storage limits
I am a jack of all trades when it comes to our company IT. So I know some about all facets of our company technology but am not an expert. I have an exchange sever and a user (the owner of the company), whoose mailbox is full. Is it true that the inbox, sent items and deleted items are the folders that determine the size of the mailbox. He currently has all his folders under the inbox. if i make a folder, say with the company name, and place all folders under this company folder, will this free the server up to allow email to be sent and received? I have already maxed these storage limits to the 2091751KB limit that excahnge server allows?

All folders in the mailbox count towards the limit So you need to increase the limit of this specific user to a higher value Or instruct to archive to PST files once in a while Deli
