hi my company have exchange 2003 server installed. few days back a spam attacked mail server. i installed GFI Mail Essentials, also service packs (1 and 2) . that really worked well to block spams. but it has also blocked incoming mails. local users can send emails as well as recievie emails from local users. Also local users can send outbound emails (like sending to Yahoo or hotmail etc) but no external emails are coming. the hosting company mail forwaringis working fine as it was working fine before spam attack. so there doesnot seem to be ay problem with the relaying, from hosting server. sekking for aswiftresponse. thanks

Have you checked the GFI console to see if it is putting messages in the quarantine?
