Hi Imran, Since it is in same forest you can safely remove the exchange 2007 server by uninstalling it properly. I assume that you don't have any connection with old forest now in your new forest and migration is fully completed. Here are some of the steps you can follow... Move all Mailboxes Move all public folders if you have any on old server. Make sure that you have modified send connector of your internet mailflow. Verify mail flow with Test-Mailflow command. Uninstall Exchange server, you can follow below article. How to Completely Remove Exchange 2007 from a Server http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123893(EXCHG.80).aspx Verify your environment with http://ExBPA.com after uninstalling Exchange 2007 server.

Hi Imran: here are some keys for migration; (1) we should know clearly which roles is the source exchange server, for example: OAB role, mailbox role e.g.; (2) make a detailed migration's plan from source server to destination server, and suggest you'd better write document ,then do as the document; (3)consider failback plan , if the migration prograss fails; (4) consider coexistence time? then jude when to remove the source exchange server; hope it helps -jack
