I want reset distribution group mailbox password, i couldn't find reset option in group tap, i added reset option from permission and its  only available on mailboxes tap only ). I'm using exchange server 2013.

You can't reset passwords for Groups and they don't contain passwords.

Its not like User and Computer Accounts that have passwords.

Can you explain what you are trying to do?

There is nothing like Distribution Group Mailbox.

There are Distribution Lists and Shared Mailboxes, which you might be referri

Distribution groups and mailboxes are not the same. Are you perhaps referring to a shared mailbox? There isn't a password on a distribution group to be reset.

If the administrator wants to reset password for a user mailbox, we can do it in ADUC (Active Directory Users and Computers):

Right-Click the user mailbox, click Reset Password. Then type the new password for this user.
