how to migrate Exchange 2003 organization to Exchnage 2007 organization?
Good morning! I have some questions about migration of Exchange 2003 organization to Exchange 2007 organization. We have the following structure of the network: We have root domain and controller (Windows Server 2003 x86)for this domain. Exchange 2003 organization is installed on it. Also we have another domains, that are in one forest with root domain. Exchange 2003 is installed on this controllers and are in one Exchangeorganization. How to migrate from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007? (All Exchange Servers must be migrated to Exchange 2007 Servers)

Hi, You cannot perform an in-place upgrade of an existing server running ExchangeServer2003or Exchange2000Serverto Exchange2007. Instead, you must install a new Exchange2007server into the existing organization, and then move data to the new Exchange2007server. For your secnario, you can prepare a new machine which hosts Windows 2003 Server 64-bit.And then install Exchange 2007 with SP1.After that, move mailbox from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007.At last, you can uninstall Exchange 2003. Detail steps you can follow the below articles: How to Transition from Single Forest to Single Forest http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997617(EXCHG.80).aspx Besides, please pay attentionto remove the Last Legacy Exchange Server from an Organization.
