how to know if email opened?
Hi all I have more than 300 mailbox in exchange 2007 SP3 environment. Is there a way to send an email and get a feed back of how many users opened that email? OR can I enforce the "request a read receipt" for the email without requsting users' permission?. Thanks Ayman

Hi, If they are all using outlook means try to enable read receipt for all through GPO. These may help you. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/get-delivery-and-read-receipt-confirmations-HP010080428.aspx http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/policies.htmKottees : My Blog : Please mark it as an answer if it really helps you.

the admin privilege is enough to force the GPO. through you enabled read recipient it will only work when the sender is requesting for it. Kottees : My Blog : Please mark it as an answer if it really helps you.

hi, I think it can be done. You can create a OU and then add those users that you allow them use the feature into the OU. Link the GPO to the OU. hope can help you thanks,CastinLu TechNet Community Support

Hi castinlu your suggestion to create an OU is for the recipient side, and I am asking for the admin account side to have and option or a way to send an email and to get "read recipets" without user interaction. Thanks Ayman

Hi Sukh828 My understading is the GPO admin. template is only have 3 options : 1. always send 2. ask before sending 3. never send as shown in the this screen shot. Plz explain how a GPO could be enforced for "Certain messages" as you said. Thanks Ayman
