Hi ,im trying to configure our CAS servers to work only HTTP without the SSlwhen i remove the ssl from owa virtual directory the redirection not working and i get an error messageit is look like the cas proxy work only in HTTPSis it possibale to change it to http ??THX

hi,for CAS Proxying ;1) Communications between Client Access servers in different sites occur over Secure HTTP (HTTPS). 2) Proxying is not supported between virtual directories that use Basic authentication. I researched this a bit and was not able to find any way of disabling the requirement for SSL, so I believe Mumin's comment #1 above stands...cas-cas proxying can only occur via https.-alex

Why do you need it to work on http, any reason....? You may use self-signed certificate while proxying to non-internet facing CAS server, if reason is to add CAS name in certificate. It requires some registry addition to work with self-signed cert, check below article for further detail.
