how do I setup a catchall for a particular domain?
Hi There, On my Exchange 2010 infrastructure I've got numerous domains, one of which I would like to direct ALL mail for to one particular mailbox. Is there a simple way of doing this? I've googled but not come up with much and I can't see a way. It's annoying that wildcards aren't supported on the SMTP tab or I'd have simply given the mailbox the address of *@whatever.com. Can anyone help? Many Thanks.

Hi Leif, Thank you for your reply. I've looked at that article but I do not believe that this solution will work for me as that appears to apply to ALL messages and not only messages to a particular domain. I need the ability to only apply the transport rule to a particular domain.

Hello Seb, what is your meaning of this On my Exchange 2010 infrastructure I've got numerous domains" If you need all emails from one special domain redirect to one particular mailbox, you can use transport rule to do that. Create transport rule like this: Apply rule to messages, from users that are Outside the Organization' and when the From address matches '@domain.com' redirect the message to 'user@yourdomain.com' If i misunderstand on you, please explain your problem in detail. I have many domains hosted on my exchange server: whatever1.com, whatever2.com, whatever3.co.uk, etc. I have recently acquired whatever4.com (for example) and I want a rule which will deliver any email sent to *@whatever4.com to a specific mailbox of my choice. I don't want to affect any other domains or mail delivery, only mail sent to a specific domain.

If you mean several accept domains on your Exchange Server, I think transport rule cannot work as your required. Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support

This is what I thought, is there any solution?

I think there isn't any good way to redirect the emails judge by the email addresses. You need find any other way to divisive the emails send to different domains. Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support
