Hello, Assuming that Exchange configured correctly and is able to transport to and from your .local domain: Make sure that you have an A record for ex2010.sahyadri.edi.in that points to the Exchange server's Public IP Address. Also make sure that you have an MX record for sahyadri.edu.in that points to the A record. Open ports 25,443 on your firewall and forward to the Exchange server's local IP, then follow these instructions: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996314.aspx To successfully set up an Exchange Server 2010 you need to have a good level of understanding, it's not next, next, finish. If you don't feel comfortable with DNS, MX Records and Transport, and your Org has < 75 users, I would recommend Small Business Server 2011. The installation wizard will do all the work for you and you can get an Exchange Server 2010 up and running with a minimun level of knowledge. Hello, Unfortunately, setting up a properly configured Exchange server requires skills that go above and beyond rote learning. You need to have fundamental understanding of mail transport, ports, firewalls, active directory, dns, etc. You cannot simply follow a 1-2-3 guide because there are too many variations. I would suggest Sybex books which are pretty easy to follow and of course good ol' hands on experience and research which is what you are doing. To add sahyadri.edu.in please bing or google 'add SMTP domain to exchange server 2010'. Of course you will need to set up DNS and MX records which brings me back to the first paragraph. You need the knowledge of how parts of the mail server work so that you can put it all together.Miguel Fra | Falcon IT Services, Miami, FL www.falconitservices.com | www.falconits.com | Blog
