giving permissions to a users who is not in my domain
I house an exchange server in domainA, i also have another office that has their own domainB in the same 2003 forest with no trusting between these domains. All of the users in domainB have a mailbox on the exchange 2003 server in DomainA. I want to be able to give access to the System Admin in DomainB control to be able to setup and maintain mailboxes of his own users to the exchange server in DomainA... I did give the System admin access to my exchange server and he is able to setup the mail accounts for his users from his domain by pointing to my emails server in domainA , but when he attempts to look at the users propeties after setting them up, using Exchange Management tools he gets the following error. "An exchange server could not be found in teh domain. Check if the Micorosoft System Attendant service is running on teh Exchange Server. ID no: c10308a2 Microsoft Active Directory - Exchange Extension" Any ideas?.. thanks Rob Davis

Has that domain been prepped? Every domain in the forest which has users in it needs to run Domain Prep from the Exchange 2003 CD. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
