free/busy erro
I have a public folder set up for about 3 people to use for a calendar. Those 3 can use the calendar with no problems, but now I am adding in a fourth person. We have matched all of the permissions with those of the other people, but he can't add or edit items. He can do actually add things for about 30 seconds after loading Outlook, but after that he gets the above message. The full message I get is: cannot open the free/busy information. You do not have permission to perform this operation on this object. I have tried the /cleanfreebusy switch and the /cleanprofile switch, but neither fix the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (All users are using 2007). Thanks

Have a look at the permissions using PFDAVAdmin. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=635BE792-D8AD-49E3-ADA4-E2422C0AB424&displaylang=en Tony www.activedir.org

The tool showed everything as I expected them to be set. The DACL also showed as good.

Very important question is which version of Exchange server you are running ? Exchange 5.5 or Exchange 2000 onwards ?
