Does the account have Exchange permissions? Is there another account with Exchange perms that you can logon as and see if the problem continues? Alternatively, delete the existing Windows profile of the account having problems seeing the stores, logon back in as that user and see if the problem continues.

Someone may have added (or removed)permission on the database object(s) in the Configuration container ofthe AD that's denying your account the ability to "see" the objects.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

going to try that [Andy's proposal], thanks for reply. Is it an exchange porblem or windows server 2008 bug? The EMC does some caching, guess the issue is with some corruption in the cache. Try the EMS: [PS] C:\>Get-StorageGroup Name Server Replicated Recovery ---- ------ ---------- -------- First Storage Group SBS None False Second Storage Group SBS None False This should work if this theory is correct. I had an issue with the EMC displaying only 345 objects out of several thousand on one Exchange Server. The solution was to delete and recreate the Windows profile. To Andy: This is SBS land. You must really have done something strange and un-SBSish to remove these particular permissions from an SBS Network Administrator. MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M | Small Business Specialist

I agree with the friends above, it can be caused by a permission issue. Please use another user account to test the issue again. You could use adsiedit to locate the database and check if the user have related permission. Any update on this issue?

Hi, Is there another account with Exchange perms that you can logon as and see if the problem continues? OR just create an other AD admin user and add it to all exchange groups (which your builtin domain admin has) as member, and then login to exchange server and check this issue.
