file system access control lists
If you migrate from exchange 2003 to 2010, do the file system permissions migrate over as well (and all the ACL's on the servers shares), or does the whole installation layout in terms of disk/shares change with 2010?

Hi, When you install exchange server 2010 the setup program will set the required permissions on the file system. Leif

The Exchange setup program will change the folder permission for the installation requirement and grant the corresponding permission to related services; however, it will not change or move the shared folder related ACL. If you want to move the shared folder on the previous Exchange server, you need to change the permission individually.
