exchange server 2003 delegate issues
We are using Small Business Exchange Server 2003. Some of the computers in our office have Outlook 2003 installed and some have Outlook 2007. I have been set up as a delegate to several division managers, so that I can see their email messages and respond if necessary. The problem is, I can only see two of the inboxes. With the other users, when I try to open their inboxes from my computer I get an error message: "Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. The operation failed. An object cannot be found." I have double-checked and these are all set up the same way, yet I can only see two of them. Is there a limit to how many users I can be delegate for?

no limite, try to create a new outlook profile and test. If using cache mode try using online mode and test Go into the delegates setting for these users and choose the option to send an email to delegates to remind them of the settings.Sukh

Hi, shared folders that users access in other mailboxes are downloaded and cached in the user's local .ost file when Cached Exchange Mode is enabled. In the Exchange mail settings, On the E-mail tab-->Exchange Server account-->More Settings-->Advanced tab-->Clear the Download Public Folder Favorites. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Where am I looking for "exchange mail settings"? On the server, or on the users' computers?Rochelle

What about on your PC, is it unticked for Yout Outlook profile? Have you tried to create a new Outlook profile NOT in cache mode and test?Sukh
