Hi, What is the exact information in the warning? Click the View certificate button, you will see the detail. By default, exchange uses the certificate for the services, such as IIS, POP, SMTP and IMAP. When you enable SSL/TSL for pop account, the certificate will be involved. Since your certificate is from the local Certification Authority (CA), it is not trusted by the computer. To prevent getting this warning, you just need place this certificate on your trusted root certification authorities store: 1. Click View certificate button on the internet security warning message. 2. Click install certificate, click next. 3. Select “Place all certificate in the following store”, click Browse, then select “Trusted Root Certification Authorities”. Click Ok next. You may still get the internet security warning message such as “the name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site”. This is caused by the certificate is not issued the URL you entered (Click View certificate button, you will see the information, such as “Issued to: ”). For your exchange FE server pc3.domian.com, now it has five names: 1. pc3 (the NETBIOS name of your exchange server) 2. pop.domain.com 3. imap.domain.com 4. smtp.domain.com 5. pc3.domian.com When you request a certificate from your local CA, the certificate by default is issued to the NetBIOS name of your exchange FE server, that is pc3. It is no problem to use pc3 as pop/SMTP servers'name. But if you using the pop.domain.com as pop/SMTP servers, the warning “the name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site” will happen.
