exchange is confused with email addresses.
This shows when I try to send her emails in the email addresses SMTP:JennyGreen@collect.com X400:c=US;a=;p=First Organization;o=Exchange;s=Jenny;g=Green; smtp:J.Green@collect.com smtp:J.Greem@smscollect.com smtp:J.Greem@legalcollect.com smtp:J.Green@ncgroup.com And this is when I receive emails from her in her email addresses SMTP:JennyGreen@collect.com X400:c=US;a=;p=First Organization;o=Exchange;s=Jenny;g=Green; smtp:J.Green@collect.com smtp:J.Green@smscollect.com smtp:J.Green@legalcollect.com smtp:J.Green@ncgroup.com so now the problem is when I send her emails, she cant receive and it bounced back to me saying " The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address. <mail.collect.com #5.1.1>" The problem happened when we spelledher wrong while creating her user account and now the exchange is confused. In Active directory, it shows Type Address smtp J.Green@collect.com SMTP JennyGreen@collect.com smtpJ.Green@smscollect.com smtp J.Green@ncgroup.com X400c=US;a=;p=First Organization;o=Exchange;s=Jenny;g=Green; How can I make it fixed between Green and Greem? Many thanks.

This sounds like offline address book issue. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=841273 Q12: I added a new user to Active Directory, but the user does not show up in Outlook 2003.A12: The offline address book is not up to date. Two events must occur before the changes show up in Outlook: The server must generate the offline address book and include the changes in the differential files. The Outlook client must download the changes from the server. If you are sure that the first event has occurred, you can perform a manual download of the offline address book. To do this, follow these steps: 1. On the Tools menu, point to Send/Receive, and then click Download Address Book. 2. In the Offline Address Book dialog box, make sure that the Download changes since last Send/Receive check box is checked. 3. Click OK.

Hi... Can you tell me what should I do for the fist event to occur? I mean how do I do to generate the offline address book on the server? I have restarted the server but the changes is not effected and now the new users are not appearing in GAL. What should I do? Thank you.

I get the same error for a user. We initially incorrectly spelt her name wrong. She is a PA and people get these messages when they send an email to her boss. His email is forwarded (a copy) to her account. Any clues? I've removed the forward and re-added it but can I look in depth at the address it's set to forward to to ensure it's correct?
