exchange appointment off 1 hour between windows 2000 and xp
i have an exchange server running windows server 2003 small business edition and then about 6 workstations connected to the domain on that server. 3 workstations are running windows 2000 (2 w/ outlook 2002 and 1 w/ outlook 2003) and then 3 workstations with windows xp and outlook 2003. each calendar is shared to every workstation so any workstation user can input or view appointments for another user. the issue is a period of time towards to the beginning of the year and then another period later in the year (seems to be the period of time when DST used to start and then it changed to a different date). during this time if an appointment is entered into a xp workstation from a windows 2000 workstation (2002 or 2003 outlook) or the other way around then it shows up on the other end an hour off. i have installed ALL updates for the server software and exchange as well as ALL updates on both the xp and the 2000 workstations including the updates for outlook.

Ths issue is surely a timezone configuration issue. Make sure all OS are correctly patched. tzedit can be used to verify current EST/DST settings. Even after correctly applying TimeZone fixes it will not change appointments already created. Only new appointments will reflect correctly on calendar.Bhargav Shukla|PFE : Messaging |Exchange Server TechCenter|Microsoft Exchange Team Blog | My Threads|My Blog
