exchange 2013 on ad2012 all roles

dear all,

I have only one pc with 16 gb ram and xeon processor to install exchange 2013,,, ad + exchange all roles..

what will be the drawbacks....

Hi,

I hope is a server and not a PC :)

Starting with Windows 2012, if you have the standard edition you are entitled to 2 additional VMs.

You can therefore install Hyper-v on your server (keep it out of the domain) and create 2 VMs on it. One will be your DC (2 GB will be fine), the other one will be you Exchange.

dear aperelli,

I have installed and use exchange server 2007 sp3 on dc,, it worked for me for last three years,, now i have also installed exchange 2013 on dc but its response via owa on clients is too much slow as compare to ex2007.

what may be the reasons ?

I didn't say it won't work I said it's not recommended and it has always been like that for many reasons.
