exchange 2010 to exchange 2013 UM upgrate/coexistence
Title: Exchange 2010 UM to 2013 UM upgrade/coexistence

  Hi .

I am working on a Exchange 2010 to 2013 CU9 upgrade. Customer also have UM 2010 deployed and connected with Lync 2013. Both Exchange 2013 are multirole servers MBX+CAS

UM Call Router settings and UM Service settings  have been configure with TLS and Certificate is attached to both services. Both Exchange 2013 have been add to the DialPlan.

We moved the mailbox of one production user and found out that voicemail dont task unless the user hit (#).
evertime someone try to call the migrated user a event ID 44022 is loged in the Lync 2013 server.

I have found the KB: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn169226(v=exchg.150).aspx  and realize i didnt move -Arbitration mailbox holding the DialPlan information

QUESTION: Is it safe to move it before all users are migrated to Exchange 2013

Also, should i run ExchUCUtil.ps1 on every Exchange 2013 to solve the problem.

Yes, you can move the system mailbox now.

You only need to run ExchUCUtil.ps1  once from any Exchange Server. or after any changes to the topology.

That script doesnt remove any settings like that. Its to ensure all the permissions and correct logical gateway association are correct. You can open it in an editor and see what it does.
