exchange 2007 linked mailbox users - moving users to new domain - linked calenders, OWA does not work on the new linked account.
currently have exchange 2007 resource forest with many users from 11 trusted domains, all works very well.we need to move some users to a new trusted domain and then enable the new user account to have the same permissions as the old user account.after creating the users and setting the same ad and mailbox permissions for the linked account the user can access email but cannot access shared calender links or OWA when using the new account, works fine on the old account.the only solution I have found is to disable the account, then re-connect the disconnected mailbox using the wizard and choosing the linked mailbox method, this works but will take a longtime with all the users we have.what additional persmissions does the 'linked' wizard change?thanksJez

Hi, I would like to explain when a linked mailbox is created on resource forest A. The linked mailbox user is disabled and its msExchMasterAccountSID is set by using the linked user SID in user forest B. If other users set Calendar permission to allow the linked user to access, the msExchMasterAccountSID is used because the linked mailbox user is disabled. Therefore, the linked user is able to access the calendar folder. Nevertheless, if you create a new user on another user forest C and link to linked mailbox, a new msExchMasterAccountSID is set on the linked mailbox user ad object. The new user will not be able to access the previous calendar folder shared with old linked user in forest B.
