exchange 2007 - restrict delegated administration at the store, or storage group level
Good afternoon, I am trying to restrict where a delgated admin can create new mailboxes, etc. I have followed the ms guidelines to implement a split permission model to give limited Exchange permissions to a administrator who manages one of our remote offices. I have tested and he can currently only modify objects that exist in his OU, which is great. However, he can currently place the mailbox of a newly created mail-enabled user on ANY of our mail servers. I would like him to only be able to create the mailbox on a specific store, or possibly storage group if necessary of one particular server that does not reside in his OU. I have not found any documentation on how to do this. Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried that with E2K7.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
