exchange 2003 store recovery from only an ntbackup file?
Reposting here as I mistakenly posted in migration....... Well I have an exchange server that has been rooted. I have a NTbackup flie of the store before the rooting. But thats it!!!!!!!!! Do I have a chance at recovery?????? If so whats your recomendation/ best practice? I currently have built a server with the same ip's, name , ect...... Ready for deployment.

Hi, If your AD is still up and running then have a look at the article below. I've used a similar process loads of times to restore exchange in test enviroments with only a system state backup of a dc and a backup of the information store.
