Do you mean that you upgraded the W2K3 server to W2K8? I did not even realize that was supported. Take a look at this thread: http://www.petri.co.il/forums/showthread.php?t=21357 I think you may be kinda dead in the water. I'm actually surprised that the W2K8 installer would even let you install W2K8 on a W2K3 server with E2K3 on it.

Hi Jim, Thanks for your response. Really, I upgraded w2k3 with exchange 2003 running, to w2k8 without any problem. Before upgrading,I ran /forestprep and all these procedures that was necessary, I uninstalled also PowerSell and the upgrade finished without any problem. Because this is a production server for our company, I finally uninstalled exchange manually and installed the SmartTools free mail server. I'm quite ready to install Exchange 2007 SP1 trial for 120 days, but I'm not sure that it will work. I read some posts on this, but wasn't clear. Do you have any information on this? Thank you in advance Stelios
