exchange 2003
I have an SBS 2003 with exchange server 2003 running. I am planning to add a windows server 2008 as an additional DC to the existing SBS 2003 forest. I have previously done that before but without exchange server running. So is there any preparation to do for the exchange server 2003 before I add windows server 2008 as an additional DC? Please advise. I would appreciate any put in.

Dear Mr. Ali, Thank you for your kind reply. So if I installed the SP2 for exchange, then there is no need to run exchange/forestprep or exchange/domainprep in order to extend the schema or add objects. Can you confirm that please? Regards,

There is no need to extend the schema and domain if you just install a server 2008 as domain controller If you want to install second exchange 2003 in server 2008 you need to run setup /domainprep and create receipt update services for the subdomain. Your expertise never fails to impress!
