I upgraded by transition domain controllers to Win 2008 R2 all the roles are moved to the new DC. I still have not raised the functional level of the domain. Howeven the exchange is still 2003 SP2 on Windows 2003 server (for a few more months). Everything went fine, except that from now on when loggin on through the web mail XP and Windows 2003 Internet Explorer (version 8) clients are prompted to enter the domain while windows 7/2008 clients are not prompted as it was before (only the username is entered without the domain.) I am not sure what has happened. Any idea how to fix this or where to look at is really appreciated. Thank you Greg
