exchange - room mailbox
hi all, i am trying to get into the new calendar system in exchange 2010. i just cannot grasp a very simple concept that i am sure some one on here will know straight away. When i create a new meeting request from within Outlook, who do i put in the "to" field? Am i correct in thinking this is the actual room mailbox i put in here? BUT . . my next question is how do i invite people? I surely cannot invite people at the time of booking the room? What if the room is not available? Can you see where i am getting confused? I am very new to this feature. Thanks

When i create a new meeting request from within Outlook, who do i put in the "to" field? You can input the people who you want to invite there. Am i correct in thinking this is the actual room mailbox i put in here? No, you can input the room mailbox in "Location" field (in Outlook 2010). Choose the room mailbox from "Resources" field (in OWA). You can know more detail from this document: Schedule a meeting with other people http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/schedule-a-meeting-with-other-people-HP010354402.aspx?CTT=5&origin=HA101829999 Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support
