evaluating w2k3 r2
Hello: Im trying to setup a windows 2003 r2 test lab. I need to test out 10 servers running a program. I downloaded the eval software. I received a key, but the key looks like it only will work for one box! Do I need to get 10 people to create login & downloads, or is does anybody know what Im doing wrong! Help! James

You are posting a question about evaluating Windows in a forum for Exchange deployment. Have you tried to use the eval key on more than one server? I believe it will let you.

Hello, Yes, you should post your question to Windows Server Forum for Windows Server issue since this forum is for Exchange dedicated. I appreciate your understanding about it. Meanwhile, here are my suggestions regarding the question. If you want to test Windows 2003 R2 version in VPC, I suggest you download Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition VHD which not require to install at all. You just need to load it in VPC . Note: VHD may only have 30 trial days. And you need download the VHD image once, then you keep many copies as you need, which can be started at the same time in VPC. I recommend you use New SID to solve duplicated Computer Name issue. More information for your reference. ============================ How to Get Trial Software (Tips: Click the hyperlinks and it will direct the related website) Best Wishes, Jason
