email tracking
hi, i was wondering how can we track emails that have been sent out using outlook 2010 with exchange 2010. i understand there is a tracking option. this might seem silly as i am a beginner in exchange but once the tracking option is enabled and a confirmation email is received like below, does this mean that the email is already out of server and successfully delivered to the recipient? Your message has been delivered to the following recipients: xxx.xxx@xxx.com Subject: test is there other methods of tracking the emails every moved to see how the email is delivered? Thanks.

If xxx.com isn't one of your "Accepted Domains", yes. > >Your message has been delivered to the following recipients: > >xxx.xxx@xxx.com > >Subject: test > >is there other methods of tracking the emails every moved to see how the email is delivered? Use the "Tracking Log Explorer" in the Exchange Management Console's "Toolbox". --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

You also can use EMS command to do that: Get-MessageTrackingLog http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997573.aspx Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support
