email in exchange 2003 stuck in queue
Hi guys, I am using outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 server. Here's the problem when i try to send some emails to Yahoomail or hotmail, my messages stuck in queue folder in exchange manager but if i send to other mail like gmail it is ok only the yahoomail and hotmail stucks. What is the cause for this issue and how can i fix it?.. Thanks jojo

Run a message tracking for the emails that are stuck in the queue. Do you have a SMTP smart host or you are routing directly thorugh DNS?Just to test and check, can you try creating seperate SMTP connector for yahoo and see if that can relay your emails. Make sure that you are routing yahoo emails directly thrugh the DNS and not through any relay servers.Repeat the same for hotmail and let us know if that makes any difference.Raj

Hi,When you find the messagewhen you runmessage tracking, please paste the message history here. Also please try to check if your Domain or Exchange Server address has been add to the blacklist.Check for RBL blacklist listing of Outgoing IP addresses , the Sender IP might be Blocked a) <http://openrbl.org/> b) <http://www.moensted.dk/spam/> Regards, Xiu

Hi xiu, My Company's IP Address has listed again in CBL. How can i permanently remove it? It says that there are too much spam's or trojans coming from our server, But yesterday i run a full scan on our server using symantec endpoint protection.. Thanks

Hi,Please close"open relay" on the Exchange Server?Please install antivirus application on the Exchange Server.Also I recommend you put the exchange server behind ISA related firewall server.Regards,Xiu

Hi, I've already delete the emails from the Exchange Queue and its clean and also i delisted our exchange IP from CBL and still i cannot send emails to Yahoomail it get stuck in queue folder but other emails fine.. Thanks for helping, Jojo
