we are group of companies and we use to have email address like asif@abc.com but one of other company employee want his email address like asif@xyz.comi know its possible because already we have address like asif@xxx.com so how can i make user address according to his desired domain name.i think its possible through Alias.

Two very important things that you need to check:1. Is the MX record for xyz.com is pointing to your IP address , if not then its of no use. Even putting the new mail address is of no use.2. If yes, then you just need to add xyz.com in accepted domain list and then add email address manually to the user (as this is for only one user.). I am assuming that this is exchange 2007.Raj

As i said earlier u just need the mx record point to you. Accept the mails for this domain on your FW and manuallu update this user this email adddress. If this is soem more users, then create a recipient policy , set the filter for these users and stamp them.Raj

Ohhhh.. My Bad.. FW is the Firewall. So if the MX record is in place, then follow this http://www.petri.co.il/configure_exchange_2000_2003_to_receive_email_for_other_domains.htmRaj
