dnsetw.mof not found
hi. pls i need help here. am trying to install dns service on a 2003 server enterprise edition with sp1 but it tells me to put the cdrom with the file dnsetw.mof. i have explored the cd and can't find the file. also, i discovered that when the dns service is installed on a server, this file shows up. so, how can i do my installaytion now? akbello

Hi... 1. Download Windows server 2003 service pack 1 fromMicrosoft download to your desktop 2. Crate a folder on your computer e.g. C:\win2k3_sp1 3.OpenRun form the start menu 4. Drag and drop the file to the text field in Run 5. At the end add /X and press enter 6. You will be asked for a parth for the files 7. Run your installation of DNS and point to your folder.... It worked for me...

+1 I also have the same issue now, first after finding various missing files in Service Pack 2 for the DNS service I'm now stuck on this one which doesn't seem to be findable. I thought it might be inside a file called dnsetw.mo_, but I can't find that either!
