I have a windows 2003 standard server sp2 that is a domain controller running exchange server 2007. I have moved all Ad roles off of it on to other domain controllers(there are three other dc's). I would like to demote the dc so that the server is only running exchange 2007. Can i just demote the server with dc promo or is there something else i would need to do since the server is running exchange

Hi, Its not supported to demote a server, when E2K7 is installed on it. You must build a new server and move mailboxes using the Move-Mailbox wizard/CMDlet. Regards from www.windowsadmin.info
