Hi Bjoern, Are there many event errors regarding MSExchangeIS mailbox store? Just like 9774 event? Please try to create a new storage group and create 2 users on it. Then test with new accounts again. If the issue doesnt occur, the root cause can be the corrupted database file. You may need to run isinteg to fix this or move the mailboxes to the new store. Last thing should be noticed, please never run File-Based Antivirus Software scanning against the program and database files of an Exchange computer. Exchange and antivirus software http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328841 Hope this helps. Thanks, Elvis

Excellent response Elvis. The key here is isolating the problem with the database. In most of the cases AV program is found as culprit and setting proper exclusions helps. BTW do we have any errors in the Application logs about the errors you are getting.
