I have a .txt document that I can import and link into an access database. I need to turn it into a .dbf but still keep the data linked to the .txt.

I tried using the dbase wizard and just linking it from the dbase but when I change data in the .txt it does not reflect in the dbase file.

does anyone know a fix for this?

I don't know whether the DBase format supports this, but I'm pretty sure that you cannot do what you want through Microsoft Access...
