creating exclusions in nested distribution lists
I have distribution lists with nested groups associated with them. For example, All Company -- Operations -- IT, etc. I would like to be able to add non fulltime employees as users to the IT group BUT I do NOT want them to get emails from the All Company group. Is there anyway to turn off this inheritance for some users? OR perhaps a field that I could use in their account that would exclude them from the all company email? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. You'll need two separate distribution groups, one that rolls up and one that doesn't.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

I think I am going to partially get around this issue using dynamic distobution groups for location, company, and department. At least I will have fewer nested groups to work with at that point. Thanks.
