creating Route
Hi all i need help on one of our new Requirments , We have Monitoring Appliance for Critical Devices & Services , he has facility to transfer Emails to SMS and Send them to the Service Owner mobile , His Format Email ID like : mobile_number@ Appliance _ IP , My question is : how I can create route in Exchange 2007 to let the Appliance receive like this Format of Emails . Please help me on this . Thanks in Advance

I haven't tried it with an IP address, but normally to set up a specific route to a domain you'd create a send connector, set that domain in the namespace, and then point it to the appliance as it's smarthost.[string](0..33|%{[char][int](46+("686552495351636652556262185355647068516270555358646562655775 0645570").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace " "

Agree with Mjolinor, You have to create one send connector and point it to appliance device. Make sure you are able to telent applinace at port 25 and can send test mail thru SMTP command. In send connector source TAB, use your Exchange HUB transport server. Hi, Do you want Exchange 2007 server to send email to mobile_number@ Appliance _ IP? Or receive from mobile_number@ Appliance _ IP? Please provide more description on the scenario you would like to achieve so that we can better understand. Fiona
