Hi Chethu, Is it prompting with a warning that The following server in your organization is unlicensed when you open EMC?If not then somebody has already entered the product key. Click on Server Configuration -> Select Server and Properties. If it shows Edition = Trial Edition and Product ID = Unlicensed then you need to enter thekey otherwise it is already entered.

Hi Chethu, The console procedure to Enter Product Key is available only on Exchange 2007 64 bit versions. For 32 bit versions, you have to use the shell to enter a key. For your reference: How to Enter the Product Key http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997621(EXCHG.80).aspx Mike

hi Mike, sorry for the late reply.i have tried in ems to enter product key.but it is giving error like "cannot bind parameter "producctkey.cannot convert value "aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa"to type "microsoft.exchange.management.system.configuration.values.tasks.productkey":error ."invalid product key" where aaaaa is my product key. it seems like problem with product key.but i have confirmed with my reseller that it is an legal product key of 30 licences. i will tell you the scenario how it happened.. at first i could validate the same product key for another mail server which is installed on same server, but because of some problem i reinstalled whole exchenge 2007 and operating system (win2k8)once again and i have created new mail server.but after that i could not put product key for newly created server.

Hi, I suggest that you contact your reseller to check whether it is a 64bit version Exchange 2007key. I would like to explain that the 64bit key cannot be used on 32bit version Exchange 2007 and the error will be encountered. In addition, the 64-bit version would be used in production environments and the 32-bit version would be used in non-production environments (such as labs, training facilities, demo and evaluation environments, etc.). You cannot purchase 32-bit version; you can only purchase the 64-bit version.
