Were running into a problem with installing a seconday 2007 exchange server. Upon installation of the hub transport role we get the error Summary: 3 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:20 Hub Transport Role Failed Error: The operation could not be performed because the object 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.SystemConfiguration.ContentFilterConfig' could not be found on FONA-BDC.fona.com. Elapsed Time: 00:00:20 Client Access Role Cancelled Mailbox Role Cancelled During troubleshooting I looked through adsiedit.msc on our domain controllers and find that under CN=Message Hygiene,CN=Transport Settings,CN=FONA,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=****,DC=com there is no contentfilterconfig object. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to how to create this ojbect?

Hi, Please follow these steps to create the ContentFilterConfig: 1. Open adsiedit.msc, expand to [CN=Message Hygiene,CN=Transport Settings,CN=FONA,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=****,DC=com] 2. Click CN=Message Hygiene, on the right panel. Right click and choose "New-Object". 3. Locate "msExchMessageHygieneContentFilterConfig", click Next. 4.
