I implemented this scenario once. My objective was GAL Sharing and Sync. I achieved the objective exactly as needed using the free tool: GAL Sync with Quest Quick Connect Express for Active Directory. It worked like a charm. I did some research on this first and received some advice as well: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ilm2/thread/ee9c01d8-d9ff-4580-adda-3cd36eb3acf6 Hope this will help.

You may use Microsoft's tool: FIM (Forefront Identity Manager). See the link http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/server-cloud/forefront/identity-manager.aspxRegards from ExchangeOnline | Windows Administrator's forums

If I have a trust between this two forests, is there another way to exchange GAL? regrads Reinhard Hi Reinhard, "By default, a GAL contains mail recipients from a single forest. If you have a cross-forest environment, we recommend using Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM) 2007 Feature Pack 1 (FP1) to ensure that the GAL in any given forest contains mail recipients from other forests. You can use any galsync tool you prefer. Quest freeware tools or FIM if you have license or anything else. But from Exchange point of view you should make federation with MFG. Look at Henrik Walther article on msexchange.org about different ways to connect Exchange organizations - http://msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2010/migration-deployment/deep-dive-into-rich-coexistence-between-exchange-forests-part15.htmlRegards, Konrad Sagala, MCT, MCSE+M, MCITP: Exchange 2007/2010, Lync 2010, Office365, Windows 2008, Virtualization
