Hi All, I understand that to update the OAB thru web distribution point on CAS server, It will update once in 8hrs, to force an oab update, restart the exchange file distribution service on CAS server. My question is how can i reduce the hour of update? will the update schedule for web distribution point customize? when does it the 8hrs begin from? Please advise. Many Thanks...

You can run the update-filedistributionservice cmdlet to force the update the OAB data. You will have to use the set-oabvirtualdirectory cmdlet for this. Refer to following links for more info and help.http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124707.aspxThe polling interval will began from the time the last polling occured. For e.g. If you will run the update-filedistributionservice at 8 AM and set the polling interval to 3 Hrs the next polling will happen at 11 AM and so on.-V
