Enter the alias in all lower case when you create the mailbox. Thanks. When I tried to edit the alias, it kept the formatting (tried to edit the alisa TUser@MYCOMPANY.com to tuser@mycompany.com) but when I saved it, the formating did not change.

I need to be able to edit the primary SMTP address

I used the ADModify application to change the formatting of the address.
