can run excahnge 2010 domain prep twice?

Hi Experts,

just wondering if i can run excahnge 2010 domain prep twice? For some reason, we can't figure out if we had run the domain prep on one of the domain which does not has exchange server.

If that is not recommended, then how can i verify if a domain prep was run?

thanks.

Hi,
Yes, you can run /Preparead again if you feel you need to.
One easy way to check if it has been run, is to check if the Exchange Universal security groups (for example Organization Management &
Recipient Management) has been created

If it hasn't been run, the setup will run it for you when you install Exchange 2010.Martina Miskovic

Hi
You can run setup /pd again if you need to. If you look in the Microsoft Exchange System Objects container in AD you should see a global group called Exchange Install Domain Servers - if this group is present then the domain has been prepared.
Cheers, Steve
