Hello I wanted to disable global addresslist in Ex2k3 server, so I went to the system management and right clicked on its properties and in the security tab changed the permission for the "evryone" group to "deny". I know! what a thing to do. So now, I can no longer see it appearing in system manager, but every Outlook user can see it (well, I am not sure if they are seeing the actual GAL or its offline copy), but they can click on "To" when writing a new email and search and see evryone in AD. I have done everything using the domain admin account, which is also the account used to setup exchange. Can anyone tell me if there is a way of seeing that GAL back? I would have thought as the exchange admin, I should be able to see it and change its permission, despite giving the "everyone" account "deny" permissions. I look forward to your reply.

Use ADSI tool connect to configuration container and find the same object level security tab in ESM you configure,cancel everyone group deny permission.
