just set up my first exchange 2k7 enterpriseI set the hub transport to send and receive email from the internetIve got an IP cop box at the gatewaycan I put a SME linux server in the DMZ and use it for the EDGE transport SMTP relay?can I use the anti spam features of SME to protect the windows machine?does the windows 2k8 server with exchange 2k7 play nice with SME server?what is the general feeling the group has on this topic.thanks in advance for any help you can offer

I would not see why this would not work as the Linux box is just a Smarthost Filtering device in this scenario.MVP Exchange Server
